How to close background apps in Android

Sometimes, multiple applications run at the same time can slow down your phone speed and performance. Switching from one app to another might keep it running in the background. However, you face some situations where you might be forced to close apps manually. There could be many reasons for the slow device but having too many applications on the device with lower storage and internal memory can cause lagging. To avoid such issues, you need to close the applications manually, follow the below given instructions to do that.

  • Open recent applications menu on your Android Device.
  • Locate the application you want to close on the list by scrolling up from the bottom.
  • Tap and hold on the application and swipe it to the right to close it. If you want to close everything, you may do it by tapping on “Clear All” option.
