How to sync books to your iPad

Apple’ iPad is the best device to read books. You may carry hundreds or even thousands of magazines, books and comics in your iPad that easily fits in your backpack or purse. All you need to do is just download free ebooks or purchase them from an online store and then put the books onto your iPad to start reading them. You may sync books on your iPad and then enjoy them. There are three ways to sync books to the iPad. Let’s learn how to sync books to your iPad.

To sync books to the iPad by using iCloud

All the books you purchase from app store get auto saved on iCloud account so they can be downloaded to any other device by using the same Apple ID that used to purchase the books. You may simply sync the books to iPad by using iCloud, follow the below given steps to do that:

  • Open “iBooks” app on your iPad. iBooks comes by default with latest ions versions, but if you don’t have it, you may download it from the App Store.
  • Tap on the “My Books” icon in the bottom left. Here, you can see list of your all the books.
  • To download an ebook to your iPad, tap any book with the iCloud arrow on it.

 To sync books to the iPad by using iTunes

iTunes is the most common way to sync books to your iPad, follow the below given steps to do that:

  • If you are on Mac, open the iBooks program and drag the ebook into iBooks. On Windows, open iTunes and drag the ebook into iTunes.
  • This will automatically add the ebook to your iTunes library. To confirm, click the “Book” menu to check that it’s there.
  • Sync your iPad with iTunes.
  • If you are syncing your iPad for the first time, go to the iPad management screen and click “Books” in the left-side tray.
  • Enable the checkbox next to “Sync Books.”
  • Now, select whether you want to sync “All books or Selected books.”If you select the latter, select the books you want to sync by enabling the boxes next to them.
  • Click “Sync” in the bottom right corner to add the books to your iPad.

Once your book gets synced, you may open it in iBook app and read it anywhere, anytime.

To sync books to the iPad by using apps

iBooks is not the only way to read books on your iPad, you may install great ebook reader application from the App Store and read your favorite books. Follow the below given steps to sync books to your iPad using apps.

  • Make sure the app is already installed on your iPad.
  • Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes.
  • Click “File Sharing”from the left-hand section of iTunes.
  • Select the app you want to sync the ebook to.
  • Now, you may send a book to your iPad by using “Add File …” button through that app.
  • In the “Add” window that appears, find and select the book from your hard drive that you want to sync to your iPad.
  • Now, click on the “Open”button to import it into iTunes and queue it up to sync with iPad.
  • After adding all the books you want to have on your iPad, click “Sync.”

Once sync is completed, you may open app on your iPad and find all the synced books.
