How to turn Memories Alerts off on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 12

With iOS 12, most of the people are getting an alert that says “You Have New Memory” everyday. If you are one of them and getting annoyed with this alert, you may disable these memory related alerts on your iPhone. Luckily, Apple provides a quick way to disable these unwanted Memories alerts from Photos app on iPhone or iPad. Photos app has a dedicated Memories tab that automatically generate memories on your device. Then it starts showing memory alerts to you, if you don’t want these alerts on your device, here we will provide you some easy steps to turn off these memories alerts on your iOS devices.

By following the below given steps you may easily turn off memories notifications on your iPhone or iPad running iOS 12.

  • On your iOS device, head to Settings > Notifications.

  • Tap “Photos” and then tap “Memories” within Photos notifications.

  • Now, disable the “You have a new memory” alert by turning the “Allow Notifications” switch “OFF”.

This is how you may easily disable memories alerts on your iOS device. After disabling the “Allow Notifications” in Photos Notifications settings, the iPhone or iPad will no longer show “You have a new memory” alert message on the lock screen or within the Notification Center of your device.
