How to Change the Home and Lock Screen Wallpaper on Your iPad and iPhone
How to customize home and lock screen wallpaper on your iPhone or iPad?
Just after buying a new device whether it is Smartphone or computer, the first thing we do is, start customizing the device appearance.If you just bought a new iPhone or iPad and want to change the wallpaper for the lock screen, the home screen, or both, here we will provide you some easy steps to do that.
However, your iPhone or iPad comes with the default wallpaper but if you want you may change it using your favorite pictures from Apple’s gallery, one of a few motion wallpapers or even a Live Photo that animates. Follow the below given steps to do that:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open “Settings” app.
- Tap “Wallpaper” and then select “Choose a New Wallpaper.”
- Now, select the locations to select the new wallpaper you want to set:
- Dynamic: It shows circles that float around the screen and respond to the motion of your device.
- Stills: It contains images from Apple’s gallery.
- Live: It contains Apple’s gallery of Live Photo images that animate when you 3D Touch them.
- Libraries: To select photos that are contained in your Photos app, including selfies and your own Live Photos
- Select the photos you want to use.
- Moreover, If you want to adjust options according to you, you may do it using the below given options:
- Move and Scale: If you selected your own photo, you may slide it around and pinch-to-zoom in and out to frame it exactly the way you want it.
- Motion: You may select still (for no motion effect), perspective (for slight movement) or Live Photo (if applicable) and then tap “Set.”
- Now, select “Set Lock Screen” if you only want to change the Lock screen wallpaper or select “Set Both” if you want to change Home screen Wallpaper too.
