What is CES (Consumer Electronics Show) ?

CES is stands for the Consumer Electronics Show that is one of the world’s biggest gathering places for all those who thrive on the business based on consumer technologies. This event held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States to typically hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.

CES is inaugurated to provide a platform for innovators and breakthrough technologies around 50 years ago.  Basically, it is the global stage where next-generation or all new coming innovations are introduced to the marketplace. It is organized in the beginning of every New Year by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it attracts the world’s business leaders and innovating thinkers.

CES 2019 and its annoucements

Recently, CES 2019 was held in Las Vegas from 8th January to 11th January where Google had a huge exhibit space at CES 2019 (complete with its own roller coaster) and it had many other announcements as well. One of them was that Google Assistant digital helper will be available on one billion devices by the end of January 2019.The big reveal from LG was the LG Signature OLED TV R with a rollable OLED display that hides inside the stand when you’re not watching. Moreover, Samsung also introduced a whopping 98-inch QLED 8K TV to Las Vegas with HDMI 2.1 support. Similarly, many other electronics brands were represented or introduced their new launching products. The brands participated in CES 2019 are Google, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony, HTC, Nvidia, Razer, Intel, Acer, HP, Asus, Huawei and Honor.
