Fortunately, Apple has Automator, a built in tool that allows you to convert images from HEIC to JPEG . First of all, you need to configure the Quick Action in Authomator app, follow the below given steps to do that.

• On your Mac, go to “Applications”, launch “Automator” and then click “New Document.”

• Select Quick Action > Choose from the list of templates.

• Now, type “Copy Finder” into the search box on the left side of the screen.
• Drag “Copy Finder Items” to the right side of the screen. Here, you may select the folder to which you want to save the converted images.
• Go back to the left side of the screen, type “Change type” into the search box and then drag “Change Type of Images” to the right side of the screen. Here you may select JPEG from drop down menu
• In the menu bar, click File > Save and name your quick action.
• Click “Save” to apply the changes you made.

After creating a Quick Action in Automator, you may use it to change images from HEIC to JPEG . To change the image format, right- click any HEIC file, any image file and then select the Quick Action that you created; doing so will convert your HEIC images to JPEG and save them in your selected or created folder.
