How to enable file encryption in Windows 10?

Like Apple, Microsoft also added default file encryption feature in Windows 10 Pro. File encryption helps to protect your data from being encrypted by others. After enabling file encryption, only the person who has right encryption key can decrypt it.  Here, we will provide you some easy steps to enable it.

If you are using Windows 10 Pro, you may easily encrypt a file by following the below given steps:

• On your Windows 10 PC, right click on a file or folder and then select “Properties.”

• Click “Advanced” and then check the box for “Encrypt contents to secure data.”

• After that, click “OK” to close the “Advanced Attributes.”
• Click “Apply” and then select “OK.”

After following the above mentioned instructions, you file or documents will be encrypted and password protected.
