All the new features of Mac OS 10.14 Mojave

Apple releases update for iPhone and Mac after a specific time interval. Recently, at 2018 Worldwide Developers Conference in June, Apple announced the latest update Mac OS 10.14 called Mojave for Mac. Basically, Apple adds these updates to introduce some new features and fix some minor issues. Mojave is designed to add some new features for user interface improvements to make the experience on the Mac better. After this update, you may use your Mac in dark mode and take various screenshots easily. Moreover, your system will organize files using Stacks automatically. Here, we will provide a list of new features that you will get in Mac OS 10.14.

1. Dark Mode

Dark Mode, this brand new feature will give a dramatic new look to your Mac and help you to focus on your work. In this mode, dark colors are used in place of light colors in the user interface. The subtle colors and fine points of your content take centre screen as toolbars and menus recede into the background. By switching to Dark Mode in System Preferences, you may create a beautiful, distraction-free working environment that reduces eye fatigue. Moreover, Dark Mode improves certain aspects of video and photos such as color and detail. Dark Mode is the best feature that will be included in Mojave, if you don’t like this feature, you may switch back anytime.

2. Dynamic Desktop

Dynamic Desktop would be the perfect feature for those who spend maximum time in front of their Mac. With this feature, your Mac’s desktop picture adjusts accordingly with the time of day, so you have a better idea of how the day is going. This is the great feature to customize your work environment with a time-shifting desktop picture that changes throughout the day.

3. Desktop Stacks

Desktop is the easiest and best place to save your files where you can get your files quickly, when you need. But over the time, you system desktop gets cluttered and creates problem. To avoid this apple introducing stacks that clean up cluttered desktop by automatically organizing your files into related sets. Moreover, if you tag files with project-specific metadata, like client names, sorting by stacks becomes a efficient way to manage multiple jobs. When you click on a stack, it expands to show the individual files. You can also browse through a stack of files to find the one you want.

4. Continuity Camera

In this digital era, printing or sharing of photos and documents is being easy and scanner has a main roll to do that. Now, with the Mojave, Apple adding Continuity Camera feature by which you may use iPhone to shoot a nearby object or scan a document and get it automatically on your Mac.  You need to just select a Photo from the Edit menu. Moreover, you may also take a photo of anything on your desk and directly see it in your Pages document.  You may use Continuity Camera in Mail, Notes, Pages, Keynote, Numbers and more.

5. Finder Enhancements

With MacOS Mojave, the Finder gets a few enhancements that make it easier to work with your files.  Now you can quickly find a file and perform go-to actions on files without launching an app. The new Gallery View allows you to identify a file easily; you may scroll through big previews of your files to visually identify the one you want to see. So finding that image of the smiling girl by the Ferris wheel or the PDF with a colorful pie chart has never been faster. With Quick Actions in the Preview pane, you can work on files directly from the Finder. Moreover, you may easily rotate images, protect documents, trim videos and more. With metadata, you may easily get details of any file and customize it.

6. Screenshots

MacOS Mojave will provide you a simple way to get any type of screenshot. Its easy menu includes new screen-recording tools and options like setting a start timer, showing the cursor and even customizing the location where you want to save your screenshots. When you take a screenshot, its thumbnail animates to the corner of the screen. You may leave it there to save automatically to the location, you have selected.

 7. FaceTime

After updating your system with Mojave, you can make a FaceTime call with up to 32 people and invite anyone to join a call anytime while using it.  Moreover, you may include both audio and video callers at the same call.
