Instagram rolls out a portrait mode and a new way to tag friends in stories

Instagram is always finding new way to help you level up your photography skills and recently, launched a new feature, a portrait mode feature known as Focus. The app also released a new way to mention friends in stories using a sticker.

Now, Instagram’s Focus mode can be accessed on every new Smartphone. The Instagram says Focus will be found under the record button next to the super zoom setting. “As soon as there’s someone in the shot, you’ll notice the person stays in focus while the background softly blurs,” Instagram said in the statement. “Simply tap to take a photo or tap and hold to record a video.”

Once you have created a story, you can tag another Instagram user on your iPhone. Select “@mention” in the sticker tray, and find your friend just like mentioning them in a photo caption.

Focus is available for iPhone 6 & above and some Android devices as part of version 39.0.
