How to unpair and erase your Apple watch

How to disconnect your devices from Apple Watch?

By following the below given steps, you may disconnect all your paired devices from Apple Watch App.

  • Keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close together as you unpair them.
  • On your iPhone, launch “Apple Watch app” and tap your “active watch” at the top of the “My Watch
  • Tap the “info button” next to the watch that you want to unpair.

  • Tap “Unpair Apple Watch” and confirm the process by tapping “Unpair [watch name].”

  • If you are using cellular service, select to “Keep” or “Remove” your plan.
  • Enter your Apple ID password and tap “Unpair” to disable “Activation Lock.”
  • Before erasing all content and settings on your Apple Watch, your iPhone creates a new backup of your Apple Watch. Once it’s finished, it will unpair itself from your current iPhone and remove all the synced or stored data. Finally, your watch will restore itself to Apple’s factory settings.
  • After completing this, you may make a backup of your current iPhone to keep your Apple Watch data safe and secured.

How to erase your Apple Watch?

If you cannot upair the Apple Watch, you may still remove all content and settings on your Apple Watch by following the below given steps:

  • On your Apple Watch, select Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
