How to use Disk utility for formatting an SD card on your Mac?

Every Mac comes with the Disk Utility that helps you to perform disk and disk volume-related tasks on macOS. Like formatting a disk for Windows, you may also quickly and simply format your SD card with the Disk Utility. Usually, formatting of SD card is required to remove the stored data and use it as a storage medium with another electronic device. • First off, connect the SD or microSD card to the Mac.
• Navigate to Application > Utilities and launch “Disk Utility.”

• From here, you may give the SD card a name and then select the file system format you want to use for the SD card.

• As process completes, click the “Done” button.
• Finally, eject the SD card / Micro SD card from your Mac.
