How to create a signature in your Gmail account

If you are using Gmail account for official purpose and sending hundreds of emails per day, it is not easy to add your signature manually while closing the email. In such a case, you may create your Gmail signature and set it to add automatically at the end of Gmail messages as footer. Let’s learn how to do it.

For PC or Mac users

If you are using Gmail app on your PC or Mac, you may easily create a Gmail signature by following the below given steps.

• On your PC or Mac, open your Gmail account.
• On the top right corner of the screen, click “Gear icon” and select “Settings.”
• In the “Signature” section, add your signature text in the box. If you want, you may also add an image or change the text style to format your message.

• After completing the above given steps, click “Save Changes.”

For Android users

If you access your Gmail account on Android device, you may create Gmail signature by following the below given steps:

• On your android phone, open the Gmail app.
• In the top left corner of the screen, tap on the “Menu” button.
• Scroll down to locate “Settings” and tap on it.
• Select the Google Account where you want to add a signature.
• Tap “ Mobile Signature”, enter the text for your signature and then tap “OK.”

For iPhone or iPad users

To create a Gmail signature on your iPhone or iPad, follow the below given steps:

• On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app.
• On the top left corner of the screen, tap the “Menu” button.
• Scroll down to locate “Settings” and tap on it.
• Select your account and then tap “Signature settings.”
• Enable the “Signature” setting.
• Add or edit your mobile signature and tap on the back button to save the settings.

This is how you may create Gmail signature and add it automatically while composing a new email. In case you are using multiple accounts , you need to repeat the same process to create signature for all other accounts.
